****** Rat House ****** Version 2 Beta 1 26/09/2009 Info: ===================================================================== A large rat map, inspired by micewars_v4 from CoD:UO This map was started for CoD:UO and was designed for vehicles, but as it happens CoD4 doesn't have vehicles so I've added a few of my own - Dust Fighters There are 3 fighter ports on the map, each with 6 fighters. Fighters can fire a machine gun or 3 rockets which then take 3 seconds to reload. They also have a speed boost, but while boosting you are unable to fire any weapons. Fighters can also have a passenger, when the fighter is first got on by the driver other players can get on before it takes off (2 seconds after being used) Minigun Turrets These are static turrets with 4 miniguns mounted on SAM Sites SAM site were initially designed to shoot down the airships, but are more likely to kill the players inside first :P SAM missiles can be shot down, SAM sites can fire up to 16 missiles then it must wait 5 seconds to reload Airships There are 2 airships in the map, starting at each end and have a set path of which it follows going around most of the map Installing: ===================================================================== Place rat_house_v2b1.ff rat_house_v2b1_load.ff rat_house_v2b1.iwd in Call of Duty 4/usermaps/rat_house_v2b1/ Place rat_house.cfg in your mod folder and add exec rat_house.cfg to your main server cfg file Stuff Added/fixed: ====================================================================== [F] = Fixed [+] = Added [C] = Changed / improved v1 -> v2 Beta 1: [C] Improved rocket collision [C] New teleporter fx [F] Mortar model no longer disappears when far away from it [+] Added jump boots [F] Fixed being able to go under the map with parachute [F] Scripted bullet impact fx now play the right way depending on the surface angle [+] Added sounds to those little platforms [+] Added more options for setting things like fire time, reload ect for SAMs and fighters [C] Changed various fx [C] Improved scripts (less lag ect) [C] Added various new stuff around the map [F] Airship faces correct direction all the time now [F] Airstrikes now come through the roof [+] Fighters can have a passenger on them [+] Most of the map has been triggered so if you get stuck in a wall you will be moved to the nearest spawn point [C] Bathroom sink and toilets have been clipped better [+] Added somthing which tells you which room or tunnel you're in when you enter a new area [+] Supports more gametypes - DM, TDM, HQ, SAB, SD, CTF, CTFB and HTF And a lot of other small details, tweaks and additions...
